Job summary

You will liaise with carriers, adjusters, attorneys, and physician staff to expedite approvals and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Medical office experience and knowledge of workers' comp processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage referrals and initiations of approvals.
• Communicate with adjusters, patients, attorneys, and staff.
• Schedule appointments promptly after referral approval.
• Obtain medical records or pre-authorization documents as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records.
• Assist coordinators as needed and answer overflow calls.
• Support data entry and scheduling in practice systems.
• Adhere to LOS code of conduct and policies.
