I'm partnering with an established California-based law firm to identify a Workers' Compensation Attorney interested in joining a fully remote practice. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and handle workers' compensation defense matters throughout the case lifecycle.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery, evaluate claims, and develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and other proceedings, as applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in workers' compensation.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to meet an annual billable-hour target of 2,200 hours.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between [$150,000 - $250,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
