Job summary

Everforth ECS in Arlington, VA is seeking a Workday Platform & Systems Analyst to support the Workday tenant after go-live in a hybrid capacity for the USPS Office of Inspector General. The role focuses on ongoing support, configuration accuracy, and continuous improvement of Workday environments.

You will be the first line of functional and technical support for Workday, collaborating with HR and IT teams to ensure stable operations, accurate data, and timely responses to issues while building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years supporting Workday or other ERP in production tenant.
• 1+ year building system reports.
• 1+ year in a ticketed support role.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM, Benefits, Talent Optimization, and Learning in production.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a full Workday implementation or deployment phase.
• Release management of major Workday updates with analysis, regression testing and rollout strategy.
• Provide hands-on support for Workday Core HCM, Benefits, Talent Optimization, and Learning in production.
• Apply knowledge of Workday business processes, supervisory orgs and security groups.
• Build and modify Workday reports and calculated fields.
• Resolve helpdesk tickets within defined service levels.
• Test system changes and follow formal change control processes.
• Configure and troubleshoot business processes, security, rules and notifications.
• Prepare and validate data loads and reconcile results.
• Write SOPs, test scripts, configuration logs and user job aids.
• Analyze problems to root cause and document resolutions.

Job description

ECS is seeking a Workday Platform & Systems Analyst to work in a hybrid capacity, for the US Postal Service's Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in Arlington, VA.

This position supports the Workday Administrator in operating, maintaining and improving the organization’s Workday tenant after go-live. The Analyst is the first line of functional and technical support, keeps configuration and data accurate and helps the organization move from implementation into stable operations and continuous improvement.

Note: Candidates must be able to pass a USPIS Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) and obtain a USPS Public Trust (elevated) clearance. This requires US Citizenship and the ability to pass an in-depth background check.

Responsibilities include:

• Participation in a full Workday implementation or phase deployment
• Release management of major updates to Workday, to include analysis of new features, perform regression testing and rollout strategy
• Hands-on experience supporting Workday Core HCM, Benefits, Talent Optimization, and Learning modules in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of Workday business process, supervisory organization and security groups
• Ability to build and modify Workday custom reports and calculated fields
• Experience in resolving helpdesk or ticketed support requests within defined service level agreement
• Experience testing system changes and following formal change controlalsa
• Workday HCM architecture: business objects, business processes, supervisory and matrix organizations, and security model (role-based, user-based, domain and business process policies)
• Configuring and troubleshooting business processes, security permissions, condition rules and notifications
• Building Workday reports and calculated fields
• Preparing and validating data loads and reconciling results
• Writing clear SOPs, test scripts, configuration logs, and user job aids
• Analyzing and documenting problems to root cause and resolutions
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Three (3) years of professional level experience supporting and utilizing Workday or other ERP systems in a production tenant
• One year building system reports
• One year in ticketed support role
• Hands-on experience supporting Workday Core HCM, Benefits, Talent Optimization, and Learning modules in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of Workday business process, supervisory organization and security groups
• Ability to build and modify Workday custom reports and calculated fields
• Experience in resolving helpdesk or ticketed support requests within defined service level agreement
• Experience testing system changes and following formal change control

Desired Skills

• Five (5) years of HRIS or HR technology experience
• Three (3) years of Workday experience including implementation
• Tier 2 support experience with SLA ownership
