Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a Software Administrator to design, deploy, maintain, and manage development, test, and production environments for assigned systems. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years in IT; healthcare experience preferred.

Candidate should be proficient in SQL, scripting, and MS Office tools, with strong problem-solving, communication, and self-direction. Regular on-site role with standard employment type.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or related field; five years’ equivalent experience if no degree.
• Minimum three years’ technical applications or information systems experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred; strong relational database concepts.
• Excellent communication, detail orientation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Applies standard application design principles to create efficient logical/physical designs.
• Consults with users to identify procedures and clarify project objectives.
• Deploys and tests software upgrades including test plans.
• Adheres to corporate naming conventions, security, and interface design.
• Maintains project documentation and comments in code/scripts.
• Writes/updates documentation describing software environment, implementations, and infrastructure.
