Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and maintain internal systems. You will participate in full development life cycle, write specifications, and evaluate new technologies for strategic projects.

You will lead development teams, mentor peers, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. This role requires strong C#, SQL, and cloud tooling experience within an insurance environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• 7 years of software development experience required.
• Relevant Epic software certifications, as designated by leader, may be required within 6 months of employment.

• Gather information from stakeholders to document functional, system, and data requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal systems or applications involving various programming languages.
• Perform testing, analysis, and debugging on applications and systems to identify and solve problems.
• Use development specifications and business requirements to create detailed test cases.
