Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Workday Consultant to lead cross-functional client projects in the United States. You will participate in full life cycle Workday implementations, from planning through post-production support, and collaborate with business stakeholders to design effective solutions.

You will document requirements, configure applications, deliver training, and mentor teams while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, HR, IT/MIS or related field
• Master's degree is a plus
• Minimum 4 years of related Workday consulting experience
• Minimum 4 full life cycle Workday implementations
• Knowledge of Workday modules and applications
• Industry-recognized professional certification required
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and reports
• Experience with integration and Workday deployments

Job description

• Assist in full life cycle Workday implementations, including planning, design, and build phases


• Document business requirements, system designs, and transformational goals


• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing


• Create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption


• Conduct training classes for end users before deployment


• Provide post-production support


• Assist with business requirements identification, functional and process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures


• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)


• Deliver complex, time-sensitive projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field required


• Master's degree is a plus


• Minimum 4 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients nationally


• Minimum 4 full life cycle Workday implementations


• Knowledge of Workday modules and applications


• Industry-recognized professional certification required


• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics, and reports


• Experience with application integration and back-end data connectivity applications


• Experience installing, configuring, and implementing Workday applications


• Exposure to or training on Workday applications


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Proven ability to deliver complex and time-sensitive projects


• Strong leadership skills, including conducting meetings and writing technically oriented documents


• Ability to understand current-state processes and define future-state processes based on business objectives


• Ability to travel as needed; expected travel up to 40%
