Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Workday Consultant to support full life cycle implementations from planning through post-production. You will document requirements, design system solutions, configure Workday, and develop training materials to drive user adoption.

The role requires strong communication, understanding of the software development lifecycle, and experience delivering complex projects. Travel to client sites up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, SCM, Workday Technology, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a national cross-industry consulting practice.
• Experience with full life cycle Workday or similar applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, metrics, and reports.
• Experience installing, configuring, and implementing Workday applications.
• Proven ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects.
• Ability to understand current-state processes and define future-state processes.
• Willingness to travel to client sites on short notice (up to 40%).

• Document business requirements, system designs, and transformational goals
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing
• Create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption
• Conduct training classes for end users before deployment
• Provide post-production support
• Assist with business requirements, functional and process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
• Perform other duties as assigned
