Job summary

New Jersey Institute of Technology is seeking a Workday & Snowflake Report Developer to design, develop, and maintain reports from Workday, Snowflake, and related HR, Finance, and Research systems.

The role collaborates with HR, Finance, and IT to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable reporting solutions. You will work with bi-annual Workday releases, perform data validation, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years developing and maintaining Workday reports.
• 3+ years with Snowflake and reporting tools.
• Experience with the Workday BIRT tool for high-fidelity document generation.
• Strong understanding of Workday data model, business processes, and security.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Search).
• Write and tune SQL/SnowSQL to transform Workday data into curated reporting layers.
• Build interactive dashboards and scorecards across Workday, Snowflake, and Research systems.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and design documents.
• Participate in Workday releases and regression testing of reports and integrations.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across integrated systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to development standards and change management.
