Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Workday Report Writer to design, develop, and optimize reporting solutions within Workday HCM. You will partner with HR, Finance, IT, and operations to gather requirements and deliver custom reports, troubleshoot issues, and provide data-driven insights.

The role requires experience with Workday Report Writer, Prism datasets, and advanced Excel, with a focus on data integrity and security across HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of Workday reporting experience.
• Expertise in Workday Report Writer and calculated fields; Prism dataset creation.
• Strong data analysis and Workday HCM understanding.
• Proficiency in Workday security and data retrieval optimization.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Experience translating requirements into delivered reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports enabling data-driven decisions.
• Build advanced, matrix, composite reports and RaaS outputs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain complex calculated fields across HCM sources.
• Validate report accuracy and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Assist with Workday upgrades, testing, and report validation.
• Document report logic and maintain reporting standards and catalogs.
• Ensure compliance with Workday security logic.
