Knowledge Services is seeking a remote Workday Report Developer for a contract through the end of December 2025 (potential for extension) with the State of Maine Office of Technology.

Responsibilities
This position will serve as a reporting developer for the State of Maine's PRISM project, a Workday-based application.
The PRISM project is a statewide effort in the final stages of implementation, requiring a talented resource to develop and modify reports to meet operational requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Reporting Lead and Reporting BA to prioritize reports for development and editing
- Rapidly understanding requirements to develop and test reports for external clients
- Collaborating with agency subject matter experts to elicit reporting requirements
- Ensuring solutions meet business requirements
- Troubleshooting report-related issues and resolving them promptly
- Analyzing and optimizing report performance
- Maintaining documentation to satisfy internal/external controls
- Developing and editing required reports
- Utilizing project tools such as Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint to track work progress
- Testing reports against requirements
- Coordinating unit acceptance and end-to-end testing with client SMEs
- Assisting with knowledge transfer to functional teams
- Executing responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Providing status updates to the Team Lead
- Anticipating, identifying, tracking, and resolving issues and risks
- Applying industry developments to work as appropriate
- Resolving team-specific issues
- Estimating time and scheduling work
- Tracking issues, risks, and action items
- Planning process steps and understanding the workplan
Qualifications
Workday Report Developer Required Skills:
- At least 5+ years of Workday reporting experience
- Experience building simple, advanced, and matrix reports in Workday
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL
Preferred:
- Prior state government experience
- Experience with data mapping and report testing
Education of a 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
