Job summary

Washington State University is seeking a Report Developer for the Modernization team in Pullman, WA. You will lead design, development, and implementation of Workday reporting across university units, translating complex data into actionable insights and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting reporting issues, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with HR, Finance, Payroll, and other units to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years of professional experience or equivalent combination
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
• Experience interpreting laws/policies and applying them
• Ability to interact with large groups and across levels

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of system-wide reporting projects in Workday
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable reports and dashboards
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical reporting issues; ensure data accuracy
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and other units to deliver scalable data solutions
