This position will serve as a reporting developer for the State of Maine’s PRISM project, a Workday-based application. The project is in its final stages of implementation and requires a talented resource to develop and modify reports to meet operational requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with the Reporting Lead and BA to prioritize reports
• Understanding requirements quickly to develop and test reports
• Collaborating with subject matter experts to elicit reporting requirements
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs
• Troubleshooting and resolving report issues
• Analyzing and optimizing report performance
• Maintaining documentation for controls
• Developing or editing reports as needed
• Using tools like Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint to track progress
• Testing reports against requirements
• Coordinating testing with clients
• Knowledge transfer to teams
• Executing responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Providing status updates to the Team Lead
• Identifying and resolving issues, risks, and dependencies
• Applying industry developments to work
• Planning work and managing time effectively

Minimum Requirements:

• Five or more years of relevant experience
• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
• Functional and process knowledge
• Experience building Workday reports (simple, advanced, matrix)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and SQL skills
• Data mapping experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
