Job summary

The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to own QA for Workday and integrations with homegrown apps. The role involves hands-on testing, developing test plans, and ensuring reliable, high‑quality releases in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with business analysts, developers, and HRIS teams, apply AI tools to optimize QA, and drive end-to-end testing across Workday modules, APIs, and third‑party interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• 5+ years of QA experience testing enterprise applications.
• At least 3 years testing Workday configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Experience testing custom applications, preferably NEXT.js or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy for Workday and integrated apps.
• Develop and execute test strategies for Workday and custom apps.
• Create test plans, scenarios, and scripts aligned with business processes.
• Log and triage defects; support production issue validation.
• Coordinate cross-team testing with integrations group.
• Provide QA sign-off for production deployments.
