Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Owner for Workday to lead business analysis, testing and support for Finance and HCM integrations. You will design data flows, manage stakeholder relationships and drive changes from concept through UAT and release.

The role requires a proven background in Workday Finance/HCM, Product Owner or BA experience, and strong collaboration with Finance, HR, IT and Digital Solutions teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology.
• 5 yrs of Workday Finance and HCM experience.
• Product Owner or Business Analyst experience.
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders, document functional requirements, map processes, identify solution options, backlog management and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience designing and executing test cases, managing UAT, validating Workday integrations and business processes, documenting results, and obtaining stakeholder signoff.

Job Description

The Technical Product Owner - Workday will lead and participate in the business solution analysis, testing, implementation and ongoing support activities for Finance and HCM Integrations. The primary responsibilities emphasize business analysis plus coordinating and leading testing, training and support of new and existing Finance/Talent processes and tools.The percent of time allocation for management, business analysis, testing and support varies by project assignments and individual experience. This variation in primary responsibilities will be reflected in performance goals.

Functional/Technical Business Analysis – includes the following:

• Research, document and interpret functional requirements for enhancements to existing integrations/processes or
• implementation of new tools/processes
• Design the integrations and data flows in/out of Workday
• Establish and manage relationships with Finance/Talent subject matter experts and Digital Solutions
• Lead development of documentation including process flows, knowledge documents, and training materials
• Identify and follow up to gain decisions on potential changes in scope and requirements

Testing – includes the following:

• Test case design
• Scheduled and ad hoc testing and maintenance of existing integrations and business processes
• Act as a Workday tester as new technology tools are developed and evaluated
• Complete testing for Workday integrations requiring UAT testing and signoff
• Document and sharing testing results

Support – includes the following:

• Assess the need for change and develop solutions to solve business problems
• Issue identification and follow up with the engagement teams and other escalations as necessary
• Escalation point for Level 3 support ticket follow up when assigned including communications and alignment with Digital Solutions

Leadership activities and other duties including:

• Mentoring of Digital Solutions Team Members
• Build and leverage internal and external networks
• Actively contributing to the development and improvement of Workday team processes
• Additional duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology
• 5 yrs of Workday Finance and HCM experience
• Product Owner or Business Analyst experience
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders, document functional requirements, map processes, identify solution options, backlog management and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience designing and executing test cases, managing UAT, validating Workday integrations and business processes, documenting results, and obtaining stakeholder signoff.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Workday issues, manage escalations, provide Level 3 support, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver timely solutions.
• Experience building relationships with Finance, HR/Talent, and IT teams, creating documentation and training materials, mentoring team members, and driving continuous process improvement.
• AgileWorkday integration experience (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, APIs)Knowledge of Finance and Talent business processesExperience with process mapping, training development, and change managementPrior experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring junior team membersWorkday certification(s) preferred if applicable to the environment.Workday certificationsSAFe certifications
