The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is hiring a Payroll Technical Analyst to support our payroll team. You will partner with cross‑functional groups to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive Payroll solutions using Workday.

Responsibilities include leading UAT, process improvement, and monitoring payroll performance. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in payroll technology, and strong Workday payroll knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in payroll technology.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday Payroll.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Experience leading UAT processes, including test planning and execution.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; familiarity with SOX controls.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver effective payroll solutions aligned with business requirements and priorities.
• Lead the user acceptance testing (UAT) process, including test scenarios and result communication.
• Regularly review payroll processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze incident data to identify trends and provide root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Monitor payroll system performance and outcomes to identify risks and opportunities.
