Job summary

FirstPRO 360 is seeking an experienced payroll professional to manage semi-monthly payroll for 3,000 employees across all states. The role requires hands-on Workday payroll, complex deductions, and year-end processing, with collaboration across HR for time & attendance and benefits enrollment.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, strong data entry and reporting skills, and the ability to train coordinators on system processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ yrs full cycle payroll experience
• Demonstrated Workday payroll experience is a MUST
• Criminal and credit background check is required
• Strong communication and teaming skills

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for 3,000 employees across all 50 states, semi-monthly
• Manage heavy deductions (manual, garnishments, levies, 401(k))
• Data entry for payroll changes, new hires, terminations
• Coordinate time and attendance with payroll and HR coordinators
• Period management of Time and Attendance system and data entry
• Train coordinators and supervisors on T&A system
• Process and track garnishments and other deductions
• Audit and edit payroll reports
• Process 401(k) uploads with advisors/consultants
• Process bonuses/commissions payments
• Support open enrollment for welfare benefits
• Create and interpret reports for coordinators/management
• Perform journal entries for payroll taxes and coordinate tax processes
• Respond to tax inquiries
• Coordinate OSHA/DOL surveys
• Handle year-end edits, W2s, addresses and SSN verification
