Job summary

You will collaborate with HR and Accounting, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and continuously seek ways to streamline processes with AI and advanced Workday features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience in a Workday environment.
• Experience with multi-state payroll preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit assigned attorney and business payrolls in Workday.
• Validate earnings, deductions, taxes, and payroll data.
• Review and reconcile payroll data with HR, timekeeping, benefits.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Prepare payroll reports and journal entries for GL.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting on payroll activities.
• Document payroll procedures and reference materials.
• Leverage Workday and AI to streamline processes.
