Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of payroll experience in Workday.
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Workday Payroll validation and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws and payroll compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Discretion with confidential information.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, process, and audit payrolls in Workday, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Review and validate payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, and other data.
• Reconcile payroll data across HR, timekeeping, benefits, and other sources.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and escalate complex issues.
• Prepare and review routine payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare routine payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll data for GL reporting.
• Ensure payroll processing complies with federal, state, and local laws and internal controls.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Maintain payroll procedures and documentation for consistency and continuity.
• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes using Workday and emerging technologies.
