Job summary

Ferrilli in the United States is seeking a Workday Payroll Consultant to partner with clients to design, implement, optimize and support Workday Payroll solutions that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements and best practices.

You will lead complex implementations, mentor junior consultants, and provide go-live and post-production payroll support across client engagements and industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business IT/HR or related field.
• 3–5 years of Workday Payroll experience including implementations.
• Workday Payroll certification required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Consulting experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation configuration and optimization of Workday Payroll solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll processing, compliance and best practices.
• Configure earnings, deductions, taxes, pay groups, calendars and calculations.
• Support payroll integrations with internal modules and third-party vendors.
• Lead payroll testing activities including parallel payrolls and UAT.
• Provide go-live and post-production payroll support.
• Develop and deliver client training and documentation.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development.
• Stay current with Workday Payroll releases and regulatory updates.
