The North Carolina Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) is seeking an Applications Systems Specialist I to support and back up the Lead Workday Integration Specialist for a large, multi-module Workday program. This role provides strategic oversight of Workday integrations, reporting, data conversions, and testing across a statewide environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field and four years of progressive experience in business application consulting or development.
Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field and five years of progressive experience in business application consulting or development.
GED and eight years of experience in business application consulting or development.

Responsibilities

Lead Workday technical strategy across a multi-module statewide environment.
Oversee Workday integration design and delivery using Boomi, EIB and Web Services.
Guide end-to-end testing, including test strategy and scenarios with SMEs.
Direct Workday reporting and analytics development to meet business needs.
Manage Workday data conversion planning and execution across cycles.
Provide escalation support for complex Workday technical issues.
Coordinate cross-functional Workday technical teams for cohesive delivery.
Develop and maintain Workday technical documentation and specs.
Ensure alignment with statewide Workday program goals and governance.
Support migration planning and post-deployment stabilization.
