Job summary

Downtown Houston energy sector client seeks an experienced Senior HRIS Analyst to join a visible, on-site team supporting HR technology, payroll operations, and workforce planning.

This role focuses on Workday administration, reporting, analytics, and process improvement, with collaboration across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and leadership to drive data integrity and business performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HRIS experience with strong Workday expertise.
• Hands-on Workday Payroll, Benefits Administration, Adaptive Planning, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Advanced Compensation.
• Strong HRIS reporting, data analytics, and dashboard development experience.
• Experience supporting Workday projects from requirements through deployment and post-production support.
• Thorough understanding of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Workforce Planning, and Talent processes.
• Ability to work independently while partnering with stakeholders across HR and Finance.
• Experience with complex or multi-location organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of Workday Security, EIBs, integrations, data governance a plus.
• Workday certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday SME for Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Advanced Compensation, and Adaptive Planning.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday business processes, security, reporting, and organizational structures.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and analytics for workforce insights used by leadership.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to improve processes.
• Lead workforce planning, headcount forecasting, budgeting, and reporting via Adaptive Planning.
• Ensure accurate flow of workforce, payroll, scheduling, and financial data across systems.
• Support annual compensation cycles, benefits enrollment, Workday releases, and enhancements.
• Perform testing, data validation, audits, troubleshooting, and change management for data integrity.
• Create and maintain documentation, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
