Western Governors University is seeking an HRIS Analyst II to join the People & Talent team in Salt Lake City to optimize Workday data, security, and processes that support employees and leaders.

You’ll configure Workday modules (HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Benefits), maintain security groups, partner with stakeholders, and lead continuous improvements in data integrity and reporting. This in-office role requires up to 20% travel and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, CS, IS, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in HRIS, data analytics, or related field.
• Experience administering and supporting Workday.
• Experience configuring HRIS/HCM systems.
• Experience with HRIS projects and process improvements.
• Knowledge of HR systems maintenance, integrations, testing.
• Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to adapt to ambiguity and change.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support Workday modules (HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Benefits).
• Maintain Workday security groups, foundational tables, and integrations.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to understand system needs and propose solutions.
• Support Workday releases, testing, and enhancements.
• Lead continuous improvement of Workday processes and data integrity.
• Monitor accuracy of organizational and employee data in Workday.
• Provide end-user troubleshooting and escalation management via ticketing system.
• Develop job aids and training materials to increase Workday knowledge.
