Job Description:

The HR Integration Developer is responsible for the design, development, configuration and maintenance of inbound and outbound integrations within the Workday HR module. This position will work with the HR functions, IT, Finance and external vendors as needed to troubleshoot and solve integration needs.

This role will partner with the HR Technology Analyst for requirements gathering, data mapping and testing of integration enhancements, projects and production support. The HR Integration Developer will provide ongoing technical expertise and consultation, including assistance with complex reporting and calculated fields.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  1. Translate business requirements and specifications to provide effective integration solutions, while partnering with HR Technology Analysts to understand business needs and functional specifications.
  2. Design, build, configure, test, implement and maintain integrations by utilizing Cloud Connects, Document Transformations, Enterprise Interface Builders, and Workday Studio for various functional areas including HCM, Benefits, Learning, Payroll, Performance, Recruiting and Talent.
  3. Prepare detailed technical documentation to support design and ongoing maintenance of completed integrations.
  4. Partner with appropriate teams for systems integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), providing insight into defining test scenarios and test plans.
  5. Ensure data integrity and privacy at the highest levels.
  6. Provide ongoing integration maintenance for all integrations.
  7. Troubleshoot integration errors and work with functional teams to resolve issues.
  8. Review Workday releases for new and/or deprecated data sources, business objects and fields; implement new functionality and remove deprecated values.
  9. Review Workday Community and attend training to ensure deep knowledge of Workday.
  10. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors as required.
  11. Build and enhance BIRT Reports, Prism Analytics and other complex reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree related field or equivalent years work experience.
  2. Experience: Required: 3 years of experience in Workday integration development.
  3. Characteristics:
  4. Highly self-motivated, organized and methodical.
  5. Strong analytical skills, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  6. Demonstrated proficiency with Workday EIB, RaaS and Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, REST, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, WSDL, etc.
  7. Working knowledge of Workday Cloud Connect.
  8. Working knowledge of Workday Studio or Eclipse.
  9. Working knowledge of BIRT and Prism Analytics preferred.
  10. Development of complex Workday reports including calculated fields.
  11. Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
  12. Knowledge of project management methodologies and all phases of the system development lifecycle.
  13. Solid understanding of overall HR functional areas and HR business processes, as well as interdependencies with Payroll, IT and Finance.
  14. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  15. Proficiency in English is a requirement for effective collaboration with teams, clients, and stakeholders, and is the standard language for all corporate communications.
  16. Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  17. Excellent attention to detail skills.
  18. Excellent teamwork interaction.
