Job summary

TechProjects in the United States is seeking a seasoned Workday HCM/Payroll professional for a long-term, fully remote role. You will combine payroll functional configuration with technical integration and reporting work to support clients across the public sector.

The position requires 8+ years of experience, expertise with EIB/Studio and Core Connectors, and a strong grasp of multi-state payroll, compliance, and tax rules. Remote work schedule offers flexibility with payroll processing windows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Workday HCM/Payroll experience, integration tools exposure, and multi-state payroll knowledge.
• Strong understanding of payroll validation, compliance and tax requirements.
• Experience with EIB, Workday Studio or Core Connectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Payroll-specific configuration including Pay Groups, Earnings/Deductions and accruals.
• Handle integration work (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio) and production reporting.
• Ensure release readiness and provide production support for payroll processes.

Combines Payroll functional configuration with technical integration/reporting work

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll-specific configuration (Pay Groups, Earnings/Deductions, Accumulations, Payroll Accounting), integration work (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services), custom reporting, business process/security configuration, payroll cycle validation, release management, and production support

Required Qualifications:

8+ years Workday HCM/Payroll experience, integration tools exposure, compliance/tax knowledge, multi-state payroll experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Workday HCM/Payroll/Integrations certifications, Workday Extend, Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits familiarity, Prism Analytics, public sector experience
