Job summary

A technological consultancy is seeking a Sr. Peoplesoft Techno-functional Payroll Consultant in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will provide senior-level consulting, supporting Payroll in PeopleSoft HRMS, and must have experience with PeopleSoft Query. The role requires strong skills in creating functional specifications and familiarity with PeopleSoft Core HCM. Exposure to Workday is an advantage. This contract position is available for a duration of over one year and prefers local candidates.

Qualifications

Location: NYC, NY (locals are a big plus)

Duration: 1++ years

Responsibilities

1. Provide senior techno-functional PeopleSoft HRMS consulting with experience implementing and supporting Payroll.
2. Work with PeopleSoft Query to assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
3. Support PeopleSoft 9.1; recent experience with this version is preferred.
4. Assist with Workday Core HR project needs over the coming year; exposure to Workday is a strong plus and may lead to project work as needed.
5. Follow up on functional requirements and create functional specifications.

Qualifications

1. PeopleSoft Query Tool, ability to write complex Joins and Unions; note: no access to SQL Tool or PeopleSoft App Designer.
2. PeopleSoft Core HCM and Payroll (US Only).
3. PeopleSoft Base Benefits (US Only) — Not Ben Admin.
4. Knowledge of VLOOKUPs in Excel.
5. Ability to create functional specifications.

Pluses

• Some experience in Workday HCM and/or Workday Report Writer.
