Job summary

Pinellas County Schools is seeking an Instructional Designer & Facilitator to support a major Workday HCM transformation. You will translate complex processes into engaging learning experiences and build capability across HR, IT, Finance, and administration.

You will design instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced modules, create job aids and videos, and facilitate trainings for diverse audiences. This role requires collaboration with multiple departments and vendors and a strong focus on change

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in instructional design and facilitation.
• Experience designing learning analytics and project plans.
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations; Workday experience preferred.
• Experience designing blended learning solutions.
• Working knowledge of learning management systems or learning experience platforms.
• Proficiency with eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline) and related Adobe tools.
• Ability to learn new tech quickly and apply AI tools in learning.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and change-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop learning programs for Workday HCM across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning.
• Design instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced modules.
• Create job aids, guides, videos, and facilitator materials.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual trainings for employees and leaders.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and vendors to align content.
• Lead project plans, timelines, and risk management for L&D initiatives.
• Support change-management and stakeholder communications.
• Assist with post-launch content updates and governance.
• Ensure accessibility and scalability of training.
