Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Package Project Lead 1 for our US operations. The role focuses on Workday HCM configurations, NA payroll, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to drive delivery. You will guide development, testing, and deployment across project phases, ensuring alignment with client needs and program goals.

The position emphasizes proactive risk management, strong communication, and the ability to work in a global delivery environment with relocation/travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workday HCM domain, across Core HR, Payroll & Time Tracking, Benefits, Absence, etc.
• Experience in Workday HCM NA payroll and core HCM.
• Experience gathering requirements and working with business.
• Experience demonstrating configurations using prototyping.
• Experience in unit testing processes and providing SME input on business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop project timelines and address resource discrepancies to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate between technical teams and client stakeholders through meetings, sprints, and phases.
• Support development, integration, and customization of enterprise application packages.
• Monitor deliverables across phases to meet quality benchmarks and expectations.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Project Lead 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies to ensure timely project completion


• Facilitate effective coordination between technical teams and client stakeholders by organizing regular meetings, sprints, and project phases to align expectations and objectives


• Support technical teams in executing development, integration, and customization stages of enterprise application packages, ensuring adherence to project requirements


• Monitor project deliverables across all phases to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations

Your contribution to the team:

• Proactive risk management to ensure project delivery.


• An ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders through effective communication


• Focus to anticipate challenges and deliver innovative solutions.


• Commitment to balance project economics with adherence to strategic priorities.

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in Workday HCM domain, particularly in Workday Functional Configuration across key HR Modules (Core HR, Payroll & Time tracking, Recruitment, Benefits, Absence etc.) across implementation / Support / Development projects.


• Experience in Workday HCM NA payroll and core HCM.


• Experience working closely with Business to gather, understand, and analyze requirements.


• Experience in demonstrating configurations using prototyping.


• Experience in unit testing the processes.


• Experience providing subject matter expertise on key business process decisions.


• Experience in BP Configurations (BP Changes, Sup Org, Locations, etc.), Troubleshooting Data issues / Corrections, Workday Reporting and Analytics and Security configs and changes.


• Experience in managing and run Workday major release update feature analysis, testing and coordination with business for deployment.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Ability to identify improvement opportunities for business and implement.


• Propose functionality changes based on business requirements.


• Good experience with basic and advanced security. Should have basic technical knowledge.


• Experience managing medium-size team would be a plus.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
