Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to lead Workday-related initiatives and deliver robust cloud-based HR solutions. You will design, implement, and support modules such as Core HR, Recruitment, Benefits, and Time Tracking, while coordinating integrations using Studio, EIB, and Core-Connectors in a dynamic delivery environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform code reviews, and drive quality through testing, documentation, and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workday upgrade / support projects related to Workday HCM applications.
• Experience in Workday Cloud Platform.
• Experience in Workday Technical.
• Hands on experience in the modules (Core HR, Recruitment, Benefits, Adv. Comp, Talent, Performance, Absence, Payroll & Time tracking).
• Hands on experience in developing integrations and reports (Studio / Core-Connectors / PICOF / PECI / WECI/ EIB).
• BP configurations (BP changes, Sup Org, Locations, etc.), Troubleshooting data issues / Corrections, Workday Reporting and Analytics and Security configs and changes.
• Hands on experience in Calculated Fields / XML / XSLT / SOAP / Web services.
• Experience in Workday production support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws.
• Experience recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects.

Required Skill and Experience

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
