Job summary

Vaco is seeking an experienced Workday HCM professional in downtown Cincinnati for a direct-hire opportunity. You will serve as the technical owner of the Workday environment, covering system administration, integrations, security, reporting, and ongoing optimization.

This onsite role includes managing Core HCM, Onboarding, Time/Absence, and leading semi-annual R1/R2 releases in partnership with HR stakeholders, with an emphasis on data integrity and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on Workday HCM admin in a mid-to-large enterprise
• Experience building, modifying, and troubleshooting Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio)
• Proficiency with XSLT, XML, SOAP/REST APIs, and Web Services
• Strong knowledge of Workday security groups, business processes, and supervisory organizations
• Experience with Workday environments previously built/maintained by third-party providers
• Excellent communication translating tech issues for HR/business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical owner for Workday HCM, managing Core HCM, Onboarding, and Time/Absence configurations
• Maintain and optimize Business Process Framework, rules, and validations
• Manage Workday security architecture, roles, users, and domain security
• Lead evaluation, regression testing, and deployment of Workday R1/R2 releases with HR stakeholders
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot Workday integrations and data discrepancies
• Develop integrations with EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio
• Support automated data feeds between Workday and recruiting, time-tracking, ERP
• Design and refine custom transformations using XSLT and web services
