GEICO is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Workday Financials team. This position offers an opportunity to build from the ground up and influence the future. The Senior Engineer is a key member of the engineering team, working across the organization to ensure a frictionless customer experience and uphold high standards of protection and availability. The ideal candidate possesses broad and deep technical knowledge of Workday Financials, Integrations, PRISM, Reporting, and Accounting Center.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage system integrations within the Workday Financial architecture.
• Support and develop Workday inbound and outbound integrations, including troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Define product requirements and leverage technical skills to implement solutions.
• Collaborate across teams throughout the software lifecycle.
• Lead design sessions and code reviews to improve engineering quality.
• Ensure data and application integrity through analysis, coding, and documentation.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and support solutions using Workday tools.
• Develop interfaces and conduct testing.
• Stay updated on tech trends, participate in communities, and mentor peers.
• Mentor other engineers and share best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday integrations, PRISM, and Accounting Center in financial domains.
• Proficiency with Web Services, APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST), XML, XLST.
• Knowledge of Workday development tools such as EIB, Studio, Report Writer, BIRT.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient, and highly available systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Experience

• 4+ years in software development within the Workday ecosystem.
• 3+ years in system architecture and design.
• 2+ years with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Salary

$70,000 - $185,000 annually, depending on experience and other factors.
