Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Senior Accountant with Workday Financials expertise for a 6–12 month contract in the Wayne, PA area. Hybrid work arrangement with a hands-on approach to support high-volume accounting during an ERP implementation and stabilization period.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of GL and close experience in a professional services environment, strong Workday skills, and advanced Excel abilities. Will partner with FP&A and billing teams to strengthen financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on GL and month-end close.
• Hands-on Workday Financial Management experience across GL, AP/AR, procurement/expense management, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience in professional services or project-based environments.
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables and lookups.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounts with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Execute month-end and year-end close in Workday with GAAP compliance.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Build and troubleshoot Workday reports, dashboards, and EIBs for reporting and audits.
• Support Workday testing, configuration updates, and chart-of-accounts maintenance.
• Collaborate with FP&A, billing, and operations on project-based accounting including revenue and contractor costs.
• Assist with internal and external audits and drive process improvements.
