KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant in Beverly, MA, offering hybrid work (3 days onsite per week) and a base salary of $105,000–$120,000 with a 10–15% annual bonus. The role supports corporate accounting, financial reporting, liquidity management, internal controls, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a public accounting background and will help transition from SAP to Workday Financials while maintaining month-end close and close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of overall accounting experience preferred.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience required.
• CPA is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in asset management or financial services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger integrity including reconciliations and intercompany activity.
• Own key components of monthly and quarterly close with closing entries and disclosures.
• Prepare financial reporting and analyze budget-to-actual and forecasted results.
• Support liquidity management including cash forecasting and intercompany funding.
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness.
• Support external audit and corporate compliance activities.
• Participate in SAP to Workday Financials transition and system enhancements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
