This North American leadership team is highly focused on technical initiatives and is looking for intelligent, vocal, collaborative individuals to contribute to the advancement and development of their application environment.

While this is a remote role, this resource must be within driving or short travel distance of this Chicago based office. One quarterly visits required.

About the Role:

They are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Workday Financials Reporting Architect (Remote) to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-impact reporting solutions within their Workday Financial Management ecosystem. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced financial reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, and Workday Prism Analytics.
• Architect scalable reporting frameworks that support General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Expense modules.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure alignment with financial compliance standards (GAAP, IFRS) and internal audit needs.
• Optimize report performance and data integrity through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and training to analysts and end-users on report usage and self-service capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including expertise in Workday Report Writer and calculated fields.
• While this is a remote role, this resource must be within driving or short travel distance of this Chicago based office. Once quarterly visits required.
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Adaptive Planning, or Workday Studio is a plus.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a bonus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Workday Financial Reporting certification strongly preferred.

Total Compensation BOE: $120,000 – $180,000 Salary plus bonus
