Job summary

Howard University Hospital is seeking a Workday Financial Management specialist to optimize General Ledger, Financial Reporting and Procurement. The role serves as a liaison between Finance and IT, translating business needs into scalable Workday solutions that improve accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five+ years in Workday Financial Management.
• Experience translating business requirements to Workday configurations.
• Experience in higher education or healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Workday Financial Management Systems partner supporting designated Finance functional areas, including General Ledger, Financial Reporting and Procurement.
• Collaborate with Finance SMEs, operational staff, and leadership to identify business needs and recommend Workday solutions.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and implementation during Workday feature releases; ensure data integrity and process improvements.
• Provide production support through incident management and root-cause analysis; maintain knowledge base articles.
