Job summary

MSRcosmos LLC is seeking a Workday Finance Functional Consultant to lead requirement gathering, solution design, configuration and testing for finance transformation initiatives.

The role requires extensive Workday Financials experience with end-to-end implementations, collaboration across Finance, Accounting and IT teams, and strong stakeholder engagement in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
• Strong functional knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses and Asset Management.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management configuration.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, solution design and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting integrations, testing and data validation activities.
• Excellent communication and business consulting skills.
• Workday Financials certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Functional Consultant for Workday Financials implementations and enhancements.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and perform fitgap analysis with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into Workday Finance solutions and functional designs.
• Configure and support Workday Financial modules and business processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support data validation, testing, SIT/UAT defect resolution and production deployment activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows and user documentation.
• Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous process improvements.
• Ensure alignment with financial controls, compliance and reporting requirements.

Role Summary

Seeking a Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Workday Financials to lead requirement gathering solution design configuration testing and stakeholder engagement for finance transformation initiatives

Workday Financials consulting experience and at least one endtoend Workday Financials implementation experience

Job Responsibilities

Act as the primary Functional Consultant for Workday Financials implementations and enhancements

Conduct requirement gathering workshops and perform fitgap analysis with business stakeholders

Translate business requirements into Workday Finance solutions and functional designs

Configure and support Workday Financial modules and business processes

Collaborate with Finance Accounting Procurement and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery

Support data validation testing SITUAT defect resolution and production deployment activities

Prepare functional specifications process flows and user documentation

Provide postgolive support and drive continuous process improvements

Ensure alignment with financial controls compliance and reporting requirements
