Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Workday Data Conversion Lead to drive data migration across the full Workday implementation lifecycle. You will coordinate with client stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure accurate data loads and successful go-lives.

You will own conversion strategies, lead end-to-end data load efforts using EIB and other tools, and mentor junior analysts while coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams across HCM, Payroll, and Finance

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Workday data conversion/loading, ideally in a lead role.
• Active Workday Data Conversion and/or Data Loading certification.
• Strong experience with EIB, XSLT and Workday migration tools.
• SQL experience for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams in fast-paced deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday data conversion workstreams from planning through go-live.
• Develop conversion strategies, mapping requirements, workbooks, and project plans.
• Build and execute Workday data loads using EIB, Advanced Loads, and other tools.
• Lead foundation, configuration, end-to-end, parallel, and production cycles.
• Manage reconciliation, data quality, and defect resolution.
• Lead cutover planning, including data freezes and dependencies.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve conversion challenges.
• Communicate conversion status, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior conversion analysts and contribute to methodology.
• Support multiple concurrent Workday implementation workstreams.

A growing technology and data consulting business is looking for an experienced Workday Data Conversion Lead to join its expanding Workday practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist who enjoys leading complex migration work, working directly with clients, and having a meaningful impact on implementation success.

In this role, you will own and lead data migration activities across the full Workday implementation lifecycle — from strategy and planning through testing, reconciliation, and production.

You’ll work closely with client stakeholders, functional consultants, technical architects, and project leadership across Workday HCM, Payroll, and Finance implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday data conversion workstreams from planning through go-live
• Develop conversion strategies, mapping requirements, workbooks, and project plans
• Build and execute Workday data loads using EIB, Advanced Loads, and other Workday tools
• Lead Foundation, Configuration, End-to-End, Parallel, and Production conversion cycles
• Manage reconciliation, validation, data quality, and defect resolution
• Lead cutover planning, including data freezes, dependencies, sequencing, and readiness
• Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve complex conversion challenges
• Communicate conversion status, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders
• Mentor junior conversion analysts and contribute to conversion methodology and best practices
• Support multiple concurrent Workday implementation workstreams

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Workday data conversion/loading experience, ideally in a lead capacity
• Active Workday Data Conversion and/or Data Loading certification
• Strong experience with EIB, XSLT, Workday Customer Central, and Workday migration tools
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Experience managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced implementation environment
• Workday Financial Management conversion experience
