Overview

Avaap is seeking an experienced Workday Enterprise Data Conversion Senior Consultant to support large-scale Workday HCM, Financials, Payroll, and multi-functional enterprise implementations.

This role focuses on helping organizations successfully migrate complex enterprise data into Workday while partnering closely with executive stakeholders, functional leads, and technical teams across large transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enterprise-scale Workday data conversion activities across multiple functional areas
• Collaborate with project leadership to establish conversion strategies, governance, timelines, and quality standards
• Collect, transform, validate, and load customer data from legacy ERP and HCM systems into Workday
• Support enterprise data conversion efforts for areas such as:
• HCM
• Payroll
• Procurement
• Projects
• Conduct data mapping workshops and advise clients on data readiness and cleansing strategies
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and execute reconciliation and validation activities
• Support multiple concurrent conversion cycles and deployment milestones
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve conversion methodologies, accelerators, and delivery efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience supporting at least 4 full lifecycle Workday implementations in a Data Conversion role
• Experience supporting large enterprise ERP or HCM transformation initiatives
• Experience with ETL tools, XML, Microsoft Excel, and Workday data loading tools
• Strong understanding of enterprise data governance and conversion best practices
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively across large project teams and stakeholder groups
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday HCM and/or Financials implementations
• Experience assisting clients with extraction and transformation from legacy ERP systems
• SQL and/or Python experience
• Workday Integrations, Reporting, or Analytics experience
• Experience building scalable and repeatable conversion processes

Certifications

• Workday Data Conversion Certification required

Pay Transparency

Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.

• Base Salary Range is $115,000 to $160,000 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
• During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
