Job summary

System One is seeking a Workday Architect to lead configuration and administration across HCM, payroll, and benefits in a Pittsburgh hybrid setting. The role requires strong governance, tenant management, and complex business process design to support enterprise Workday environments.

The ideal candidate will manage security frameworks, reporting, and data structures while handling corporate actions such as mergers or divestitures and workforce integrations within Workday.

Qualifications

• Workday configuration and administration across HCM, payroll and benefits, including complex business processes, security frameworks, organizations, reporting and data structures.
• Experience with large-scale Workday environments including governance, release management, and tenant management, plus reporting and security administration.
• Experience supporting corporate actions like mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and workforce integrations within Workday.
• Experience with complex workforce scenarios: unionized employees, manufacturing operations, multiple legal entities, and diverse pay/benefits structures.
• Background in HCM / HRIS / HRMS / HRIT domain.

Workday Architect

• Must be able to work on site in Pittsburgh, PA ( hybrid work schedule 3 days in the office , 2 days from home ) as a W2 salaried employee w/o any current OR future visa sponsorship ( no C2C, no 3rd party vendors )
• Workday configuration and administration experience across HCM, payroll, and benefits, including complex business processes, security frameworks, organizations, reporting, and data structures
• Experience with large-scale enterprise Workday environments ( platform governance, enhancement delivery, release management, operational support and continuous improvement , business process design, security administration, calculated fields, reporting, organizational structures, and tenant management, etc, etc )
• Experience supporting corporate actions like mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and workforce integrations within Workday.
• Experience supporting complex workforce : unionized employees, manufacturing operations, multiple legal entities, and diverse pay and benefits structures.
• Previous background in HCM / HRIS / HRMS / HRIT domain
