Job summary

Macalester College is seeking an experienced Workday Applications Analyst to join the ITS team for a defined two-year fixed term to support and continuously improve our Workday environment. The role combines production support, business process configuration, reporting, and integrations to ensure reliable, efficient service for campus operations.

You will work closely with functional stakeholders and IT colleagues, manage routine Workday work independently, and know when to engage partners for

Qualifications

• Three+ years of hands-on Workday experience in production support, configuration, and reporting.
• Experience supporting Workday post-implementation or during major module changes.
• Ability to translate business needs into Workday solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for the Workday environment, including issue investigation and resolution.
• Configure and optimize Workday business processes with stakeholders.
• Design and maintain Workday reports and calculated fields.
• Support Workday integrations and testing of changes.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams; document configurations and procedures.
