Job summary

ERPA is seeking a Principal Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant to lead solutioning, navigation, and optimization of Workday Advanced Compensation within the HCM portfolio. The role covers Core/Advanced Comp and other HCM modules, with emphasis on delivering production support and continuous improvement for higher education and government clients.

You will contribute to ERPA’s AMS practice through innovative thinking, client collaboration, and strategic execution, while maintaining Workday

Qualifications

  • Must hold HCM Core, Core Comp, Advanced Comp certifications and at least one: Learning, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Reporting, or PEX.
  • Lead two Phase 1 implementations and two Phase X implementations.
  • Experience leading higher education projects is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years as a lead Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant at a Workday partner.
  • Launch certification required.
  • All required Workday Partner certifications must remain Active.
  • Strong organizational skills; manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; deep knowledge of Workday Advanced Comp processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team; enjoy building something new.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting services on multiple client engagements with limited direction.
  • Understand client requirements and guide design, configuration, prototype, testing, and move to Production; assist with testing.
  • Support clients during Annual Events (Talent/Performance, Merit, Open Enrollment, ACA).
  • Partner with Engagement Managers to keep them informed of project status and changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts for clear communication and alignment.
  • Accurately maintain forecast in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Sales as SME; assist with sales presentations, demos, LOEs.
  • Stay up to date on industry knowledge, Workday enhancements, and advise on best practices.
  • Build strong client relationships through trust and exceptional customer service.

Position Summary:

We have an exciting remote opportunity available for a Principal Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant on our Workday HCM team! This role will be responsible for solutioning, navigating, and optimizing Workday Advanced Compensation. The span of responsibility will be to ensure the successful implementation and/or production support (post go-live) for Core Comp, Advanced Comp (merit, bonus, stock) and at least one or more additional modules under the HCM umbrella such as: Benefits, Talent/Performance, Recruiting, Learning, HCM Reporting, and/or Data Conversion.

This role will actively contribute to the development of ERPA’s Workday AMS practice and should showcase innovation, strategic thinking and have the drive to make ERPA a Workday partner of choice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consulting services on multiple client engagements with limited direction
  • Understand client business requirements and provide guidance throughout design, configuration and prototype, and assist clients with testing and move to Production efforts
  • Support clients during Annual Events such as: Annual Talent/Performance, Merit, Open Enrollment, ACA, etc. as needed
  • Partner with Engagement Managers to keep them informed of project status, changes, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to ensure clear lines of communication and project alignment
  • Accurately maintain forecast in a timely manner
  • Partner with the Sales team and serve as a Subject Matter Expert while assisting with sales presentations, demos, and LOEs
  • Stay up to date on industry knowledge, Workday enhancements, and be able to advise on Workday best practices
  • Build strong relationships with clients, gained through trust and exceptional customer service
Experience and Education Requirements:
  • The following Workday certifications with implementer access are required: HCM Core, Core Comp, Advanced Comp AND at least one of these: Learning, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Reporting, PEX
  • Must have experience independently leading at least two Workday Phase 1 implementations and two Workday Phase X implementations.
  • Workday experience independently leading higher ed projects is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a lead Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant at a Workday partner firm is required
  • Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Workday Launch certification.
  • All required Workday Partner certifications must remain in Active status throughout employment with ERPA.
  • Must have experience troubleshooting, configuring, and navigating Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Strong organizational skills are required. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with a detailed understanding of Workday Advanced Comp processes and best practices to make appropriate implementation recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, coupled with a desire to have fun while building something new (required)
