We are seeking a skilled and proactive Workday Administrator to support the implementation and ongoing management of our Workday system. This role will play a critical part in ensuring a successful deployment and will take full ownership of the platform post go-live.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday, a strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to support all phases of the Workday implementation lifecycle
- Collaborate with implementation partners on system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment
- Serve as the primary Workday Administrator post-implementation, ensuring system stability, performance, and data integrity
- Manage system updates, user access, security roles, and ongoing maintenance
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business needs
- Provide end-user support, training (in-person and virtual), and issue resolution
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and procedures
- Monitor Workday releases and lead the adoption of new features and enhancements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday administration and support
- Strong understanding of Workday modules, preferably HR and Payroll
- Experience supporting or participating in Workday implementations is highly preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Bachelor’s degree or Workday certification is a plus
- Experience in healthcare or a service-oriented environment is a plus
