Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to join our Digital Advisory Services practice. You will lead implementations, guide teams, and collaborate with clients to optimize financial planning and forecasting processes.

You will design models, drive integrations, and mentor staff while advancing our methodologies and client relationships. Travel ~20% is expected based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
• Minimum 4 years of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
• Experience in JavaScript and SQL, with ability to understand and support data integrations.
• 5+ years of corporate financial accounting experience preferred.
• 2+ years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
• Consulting experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple project workstreams, project budgets, and client relationships simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment.
• Facilitate client working sessions to understand business processes, planning requirements, reporting needs, and key performance metrics.
• Manage Workday Adaptive Planning implementation and optimization engagements as the solution lead.
• Design, configure, test, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning models, including sheets, versions, dimensions, security, reporting, dashboards, OfficeConnect, and scenario planning.
• Oversee integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other platforms.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Manage project risks, issues, resource assignments, and client expectations.
• Review project deliverables for quality and adherence to standards.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client stakeholders and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Support business development through proposals, demos, and scoping discussions.
• Contribute to development of methodologies and reusable assets.
• Stay current on Workday Adaptive Planning product enhancements and trends.
