Job summary

Paylocity seeks a Traffic Control Coordinator to guide vehicles through active construction zones from Yellow Pine. You will coordinate escorts, communicate roadway conditions, and ensure safe passage for the traveling public and site personnel.

This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, and knowledge of traffic control safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum one year of experience operating vehicles in a professional or commercial setting.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle in changing weather, road, and construction conditions.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required by project needs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required traffic control or flagging certifications.

Responsibilities

• Escort vehicles through active construction zones using designated pilot vehicles in accordance with traffic control plans.
• Conduct scheduled traffic escorts and coordinate timing with project supervision.
• Manage traffic flow during lane closures and construction activities while maintaining safety.
• Maintain continuous communication with site personnel and traffic control staff via radio or other devices.
• Report roadway hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions to site management.
