Responsibilities

• Safely escort vehicles through active construction zones using pilot vehicles.
• Conduct scheduled escorts per traffic control plans and project requirements.
• Manage traffic flow during lane closures and construction activities.
• Coordinate escort timing with project supervision and field operations teams.
• Provide clear instructions to motorists regarding traffic movements and zone requirements.
• Report roadway hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions to site management.
• Assist with emergency traffic management as directed.
