Job summary

Perpetua Resources in Yellow Pine is seeking a Traffic Control Coordinator to escort vehicles through active work zones and to communicate roadway conditions in line with traffic control plans and project schedules.

The role requires coordinating with construction staff, maintaining safety, and adapting to changing conditions while supporting public and workforce movements through work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum one year of experience operating vehicles in a professional or commercial environment.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle in changing weather, road and construction conditions.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, weekends and holidays as required by project needs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required traffic control or flagging certifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely escort vehicles through active construction and roadway work zones using designated pilot vehicles.
• Conduct scheduled traffic escorts in accordance with approved traffic control plans and project requirements.
• Coordinate escort timing with project supervision and field operations teams.
• Report roadway hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions to site management.
