Job summary

US Traffic Control, LLC is seeking a qualified Flagger to safely direct vehicle flow around construction sites and protect workers and motorists. You will set up and remove temporary work zones and assist drivers through congested areas.

The role requires strict adherence to safety manuals, the ability to communicate effectively with fellow flaggers via radios, and willingness to travel for assignments. ATSSA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Pass a Fit-For-Duty physical exam.
• Valid driver's license with driving record.
• 21+ years old.
• Willing to travel; housing & per diem on special cases.
• Willing to work 8 or 10 hour shifts, weekends if necessary.
• Own steel-toe or composite work shoes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones.
• Guide traffic and pedestrians safely through and around the work area.
• Follow safety manual and handbook to comply with policies.
• Communicate to prevent interference with laborers and projects.
• Communicate with flaggers using radios to direct traffic.
• Decide whether cars may enter a single lane based on traffic flow.
• Inform crew of traffic issues affecting safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
