Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct vehicle flow around construction zones, set up signs and barricades, and ensure public and worker safety. You will communicate with motorists and teammates using hand signals and radios, standing for long periods outdoors in all weather conditions.

The role requires attention to detail, a valid Driver’s License, and willingness to travel statewide.

Qualifications

• Must provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams.
• Excellent attendance and reliable transportation required.
• Able to work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Rotating on-call schedule and occasional nights/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up traffic control devices to divert traffic.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles to ensure safety.
• Communicate clearly with team via two-way radios.
• Stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel statewide as needed to support projects.
