Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking a student Work Study role with the Say Yes to Education Cleveland program at the Eastern Campus. You will support student services, learn administrative tasks, and help foster a positive campus experience for Say Yes Scholars.

The position emphasizes developing professional and leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to assist diverse student populations while complying with confidentiality and campus policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional and communication skills
• Develop leadership skills
• Work with diverse populations and advise on being a successful student
• Learn and use service area equipment; assist with login, student email, and campus resources
• Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress
• Adhere to College's confidentiality policy
• Pass background and drug screening
• Answer phone and take messages
• Clerical duties: filing, data entry, copying, faxing
• Open and sort mail
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new technology
• Assist with special projects
• Other duties as assigned
