Administrative And Office Skills
- Develop proficiency in office software and systems by using our database, calendaring software, and communication platforms to manage information and schedules.
- Improve organizational skills by maintaining physical and digital files, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, and preparing materials for meetings and workshops.
- Enhance attention to detail by accurately entering data, proofreading documents, and ensuring compliance with university policies in our administrative processes.
Communication Skills
- Strengthen professional communication skills by drafting emails, answering phone calls, and interacting with staff, faculty, and other departments.
- Learn to communicate effectively in a professional setting by asking clarifying questions, providing clear updates on tasks, and participating in team meetings.
Problem-Solving and Adaptability
- Gain experience in problem-solving by independently troubleshooting common administrative issues and seeking assistance when needed.
- Develop adaptability and initiative by taking on new tasks, adjusting to changing priorities, and learning new procedures in a fast-paced office environment.

- Answer phone and take messages;
- Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;
- Open and sort mail;
