Job Summary

Assist with in planning, coordination, and execution of campus events and activities. This role is ideal for a motivated student looking to gain experience in event management and community engagement.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes
  • Must meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Essential Functions
  • Serves as point of contact for students seeking information about activities
  • Help create and post promotional materials, including flyers, social media posts, and announcements.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • The person in this position needs to move to other locations on campus occasionally
  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
  • Use of manual dexterity
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Occasionally moves chairs or other movable furniture to set up for events
  • Duties indoors and some outdoors
  • Ability to work extended hours and attend Midland College or community events
